Clear distinction between new an old
Refurbishment of a XVIII century small house, for a three members family. The project creates a new volume attached to the old building as an external piece of furniture. The new volume holds the space for the entrance, staircase and a restroom. Another volume sticked to the south side of the house next to the entrance (an ancient sheep’s shelter) hosts the new kitchen. Besides the entrance volume and kitchen, the project is faithful reconstruction of the original building.
